It seems that 72% chocolate is the perfect balance. It’s dark and rich but still has that melt-in-your-mouth quality. It’s so rich, in fact, that the serving size of three squares isn’t necessary. With eight squares to a bar, two squares is plenty for four servings. The best way to eat a Twilight Delight Bar is to snap each square into nine smaller squares and eat it slowly, enjoying the high-quality chocolate melting on your tongue 18 separate times! A chocolate lover can spend 10 minutes enjoying chocolate and consume less than 170 calories.

With just five ingredients (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla and soy lecithin), the Twilight Delight Bar is a testament to the quality of Ghirardelli chocolate. On the back of the packaging, the Ghirardelli company illustrates “The Ghirardelli Difference” with a small graphic that explains how the company selects high-quality beans, roasts the cacao with a unique process, refines it for smoothness and then conches for sophisticated flavors. (“Conching” is basically a method of mixing cocoa butter into chocolate.) Not only does the company’s hard work pay off with outstanding flavor, but you can feel good buying American-made chocolate (and even twice as good if you’re from California because it’s manufactured there).
